God's Love We Deliver, Expands Its Meals to the Hudson Valley & Beyond

This past weekend, we hosted God’s Love We Deliver for a gathering of friends, neighbors, supporters, and community partners at Padrona in Hudson, NY for a beautiful evening rooted in care, compassion, joy, and community.

The event marked an important step forward for God’s Love in the Hudson Valley. For years, there has been a desire to deepen the organization’s presence in the region, and this gathering helped bring that vision to life. It was an opportunity to share more about the mission of God’s Love We Deliver, the individuals and families served in Columbia County and beyond, and the belief that has guided the organization for more than forty years: Food is Love and Food is Medicine.

The evening came together through the generosity and commitment of many people. The Padrona team opened its doors with warmth and hospitality. DJ Kristill Avalanche filled the room with joyful energy. Jon of JFF helped bring the experience to life. God’s Love leadership, board members, partners, and friends showed up in support of a mission that continues to meet people with dignity, nourishment, and hope.

We were also honored to welcome Hudson Mayor Joe Ferris, who spoke about his own connection to God’s Love and the importance of the 1115 Medicaid Waiver, which is helping expand access to vital nutrition services and resources.

What made the evening so meaningful was not just the turnout. It was the feeling in the room. People understood the call to help ensure that those facing serious illness have access to the medically tailored meals and support they need.
