With a proven track record of developing new products, services, and partnerships, Pedro thrives on turning complex ideas into actionable growth strategies.
About Our Founder
Pedro has spent more than two decades working with brands to create and launch innovative marketing programs that connected consumers with brands across media, including TV, Audio (Radio & Podcast), Out-of-Home, Digital (Display), Video, Print and more.
As SVP, Business Growth & Transformation at Horizon Media Inc. and Head of Chapter & Verse,
the agency's division focused on Web3 solutions (e.g. Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence) he led the strategic development of plans and (marketing) programs for growing business at Horizon including new products and services — building future-forward strategies that shape the next chapter of digital engagement. In his role, he also managed Partnerships & Special Projects including thought leadership at events like CES, SXSW, and Cannes Lions.
In 2024, Pedro was named an "Innovator" by The Advertising Club of New York and was an Hermes Creative Awards Platinum Winner for Individual Achievement. His Team, Chapter & Verse, also won the Silver in the AI Category at the 2024 The Drum Awards for Marketing Americas. Pedro was a 2021 Cynopsis Digital "It List" Awards Honoree by Cynopsis Media. Throughout his career his contributions have been recognized by top industry awards including Adweek Media All-Star (2019), Adweek Young Influentials (2018), and FOLIO Magazine: Marketer of the Year (2015).
Pedro served as a contributor to Thrive Global, and a former blogger at the Huffington Post, where he focused on emerging social and digital trends. He is a member of the Real Time Academy and the Podcast Academy, and is a juror for the Shorty Awards. Pedro is also a Board Member of the God’s Love We Deliver, an organization devoted to the health and well-being of men, women and children living with serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition through the preparation and delivery of tailored meals to meet their nutritional needs.
Prior to working at Horizon Media, Pedro was the Director of Integrated Marketing for People en Español where he developed branded content and integrated media programs that generated millions annually in revenue and created digital strategies that increased growth. He also worked in the Digital Media Group at Cohn & Wolfe, across consumer, healthcare, corporate and technology clients creating social and digital media communication strategies.
