From Project to Partnership: Building on the Momentum with CCCD

Over the past year, PLR Group has had the privilege of working with Centro Cívico Cultural Dominicano (CCCD) at a meaningful moment in its history.

Our work began around individual initiatives and moments, helping strengthen how CCCD communicated its legacy, cultural impact and role in the community. Along the way, that work included support around events such as Hats & Gloves, community programming and the historic street naming honoring founder Dr. Marilú María D. Galván.

What started as project-based work has now grown into something deeper.

I’m excited to share that PLR Group will continue working with CCCD through an ongoing Fractional CMO partnership, helping shape year-round marketing strategy, visibility, audience engagement and the organization’s next chapter.

For me, this partnership represents something bigger than an expanded scope of work.

It reflects the kind of model I hoped to build when I launched PLR Group: one where strategy is not simply delivered and handed off, but developed over time in close partnership with leadership; where the work is grounded in culture, community and institutional history; and where marketing can help an organization better connect its past, present and future.

CCCD has been serving New York’s Dominican community for more than six decades. That legacy carries tremendous meaning and also creates an opportunity to continue introducing the organization, its programming and its impact to new audiences.

As PLR Group enters Year Two, I’m especially grateful that one of the relationships from our first year is evolving in this way.

Thank you to Lisandra María Ramos and the CCCD team for the continued trust.

There is more work ahead and that is exactly the point.

We are building on the momentum.
